One of my New Year’s resolutions this year (and hopefully I will keep it) is to lose that extra pre-baby and post-baby weight that I have gained. So on New Year’s Day, my husband and I decided to buy the Bowflex TreadClimber cardio machine and we have no regrets. This machine totally kicks my butt and I love it. I have never experienced such a great workout in a short period of time (30 minutes/day/3x week) and the best part is that it is super low impact on the joints. This machine combines the power of walking on a treadmill and climbing a stairmaster all in a smooth flow. If you’re looking for a great workout, this machine is the best!
So, this is my first entry and I don’t know where to begin. You see, I’m new to this world of blogging and I’m trying to get my arms wrapped around it. So where do I start? How about a brief background on who I am.
I am a mother to a 6 month baby girl and she is our world. I’ve been happily married for over 5 years now and I learn to love my husband more and more each day, especially when I see him with my daughter. Originally from New Jersey, we moved to Florida 5+ years ago with no intentions of moving back. The warm weather, diverse culture and foods and so many things to do will keep us here for years.
So what do I want to get out of this blog? Well for starters, I want to meet other people like me with similar backgrounds and learn from them. I plan on using this blog as my avenue to talk about the daily thoughts that go through my head. This will include my challenges with being a new mom, my desire to balance being a working mom and a good parent, and many more interesting topics to come.
